TIMÉE

Première Vision Paris, the world’s leading trade show for fashion industry professionals, called on Tetro to design a bubble that offer provide an otherworldly experience for exhibitors and visitors. In response, the agency presented Timée, an immersive art installation by Guillaume Marmin

— BACKGROUND —

Première Vision Paris is the world’s leading fashion industry trade show, an essential industry crossroads where 60,000 professionals from more than 120 countries meet up to exchange ideas, sign deals and build their collections. The show is constantly seeking creative and innovative ways to stand out from its rivals.

— COMMISSION —

Consistent with its desire to host a unique event, Première Vision wants to offer innovative, memorable experiences where visitors can relax and marvel at what they see.

That’s the PV EXPERIENCE, conceived and put together by TETRO.

— CREATION —

TETRO invites artist Guillaume Marmin to create an experimental bubble where time seems to have stopped.

The result: Timée, an immersive audiovisual experience where Première Vision attendees dive into the cosmos. Timaeus was one of Plato’s last dialogues, in which the philosopher imagines the universe with the Earth at its centre and proposes something called Music of the Spheres, in which each planet strikes its own audible tone, based on its unique orbital revolution. Distances within the solar system are represented as musical intervals from an octave to a single tone, and as the planets each rotate around the Earth, the solar system produces a perfect musical score.
