LYON - 2013 > 2014
A gathering of the creative industries
— BACKGROUND & MISSION —
As part of its policy to promote the creative industries and provide an economic boost to the sector, the regional government for Greater Lyon seeks to energize and unify the local creative community, notably through a series of forums held throughout the year. Le Grand Lyon enlists Tetro to coordinate six events in 2013 and 2014, each meant to bring together some 300 creatives from the worlds of cinema, television, fashion, food and drink, architecture, design and more.
— CREATIVE APPROACH —
Tetro relies on a simple formula: short talks by four to six speakers, followed by a cocktail event where creative entrepreneurs could informally converse and network.
To ensure these Creative Times events would closely reflect the people and business sectors active in the region’s creative scene, Tetro designs a mobile environment that could be erected at various noteworthy locations. For each forum, Tetro proposes a topic in keeping with the regional government’s objectives, then selects a site and speakers accordingly. And to give each forum a distinctive flavour while reaffirming the commitment to creativity, Tetro includes a series of arts events at each Creative Times site. It all served to showcase local talent and foster dialogue and collaboration among a variety of industries.
