Biennale audiences will enjoy an unprecedented opportunity to experience a ballet in virtual reality at the heart of the iconic Grand Hôtel-Dieu, currently in the midst of a transformation that will cap off its 900-year history.

— SYNOPSIS —

RENDEZ-VOUS invite the viewers to stop time and take a break from reality in order to experience a new choreographic vision inside the Grand Hôtel-Dieu, now firmly oriented toward the future.

With a virtual headset, the space becomes empty, reality is transformed and the crowds disappear, setting the stage for music and dance. The audience enters a parallel reality that gives life to a work performed by 14 dancers from Lyon’s Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse.
