22 Novembre 2017 | PARIS CONVENTION CENTRE
Following the completion of renovation works lasting several months, Pavilion 7 of Paris Expo Porte de Versailles reopens its doors. Renamed the PARIS CONVENTION CENTRE, it spans 72,000 sq.m of floor space (including 44,000 sq.m. of exhibition space on Levels 1 and 2), has a capacity of 14,000 seats on the third floor (5,200 seats for plenary sessions) and a breathtaking view over the whole of Paris. Enjoying an exceptional capacity and outstanding amenities, PARIS CONVENTION CENTRE is set to be the biggest city-centre convention complex in Europe by 2018. To welcome its future customers, VIPARIS (UNIBAIL Group) wantes to put the new flagship of PARIS EXPO PORTE DE VERSAILLES in the spotlight for one evening on 22 November 2017.
VIPARIS entrusts TETRO with organising the inauguration of this venue in the presence of 400 French and international VIPs. The evening is divided into two parts, starting with a visit of the various room layouts on the second floor, where official speeches were given in a scenography designed by TETRO, with lighting of the centre and its spaces by Yves Caizergues. The second half of the evening features an inaugural four-minute open-air sound and light show by Yves Caizergues, which guests are able to watch from TERMINAL 7 at the top of the PARIS CONVENTION CENTRE with views over the whole of Paris.
