1.3 Seconds, an immersive show by Guillaume Marmin, has unfolded beneath the vaults of several cathedrals across Europe.
1.3 Seconds is an immersive installation conceived by Guillaume Marmin. Its title refers to the time it takes for light to travel between the Earth and the Moon. Deployed within large-scale spaces, the installation brings together more than one hundred projectors.
Light beams travel through the environment, carving through the architecture and revealing its hidden depths. Synchronized with an original sound composition, the artwork gives form to the speed of light.
Visitors are immersed in a continuous flow where perception and duration become intertwined.
Minimal in form yet spectacular in effect, 1.3 Seconds transforms space into a luminous landscape.
