2016 CTM BERLIN - 2016 LYON FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

— BACKGROUND —

After GRID, revelation of the 2013 Festival of Lights, Tetro will present for the edition 2016, DEEP WEB, a monumental installation and immersive designed by the Berliner Christopher Bauder from WhiteVoid and the composer and musician Robert Henke.

Initially scheduled for the 2015 Festival of Lights, and postponed after the tragic events in Paris, Deep Web is presented in preview to CTM festival from 2 till 7 February in Kraftwerk Berlin.

— ART INSTALLATION —

Deep Web immerses the spectator in a ballet of futuristic kinetic light. A monumental installation that combines lasers with kinetic art. It consists of a 25-metre-long interactive and architectural light structure composed of 175 motorised spheres filled with liquid, which absorb the light generated by twelve powerful lasers. Each sphere creates beams of infinite light to produce vector planes that can be modified in a three-dimensional space. The interplay of reflections creates coloured geometric figures that react to Robert Henke’s electronic compositions.
