Noor Riyadh Light Art Festival
In 2025, Studio TETRO presented two artworks at the Noor Riyadh Light Art Festival, one of the world’s leading events dedicated to contemporary light art.
Two installations exploring the body and perception.
Gathered under the theme In the Blink of an Eye, the festival brought together 59 international artists across the city.
Double Heart ✕ Plastique Fantastique
The body becomes light.
Two visitors enter the installation. Their heartbeats are captured, translated and amplified in real time. Intimate rhythms become a shared luminous and sonic landscape, revealing both individual differences and collective connection.
Relic ✕ Karolina Halatek
The visitor becomes a monument.
A pyramidal structure projects a beam of light through mist and mirrors. As visitors move through it, their silhouettes dissolve and reappear, transforming them into temporary living monuments. Between archetypal form and contemporary installation, Relic creates a space for contemplation and transformation.
Through these two artworks, Studio TETRO explores a common question: how does light alter our perception of ourselves?
