Each year, Sushi Shop produces two limited-edition boxes. Taking its inspiration, as always, from regions that are making news, Sushi Shop chose to pay homage to the capital of the California Roll: Los Angeles.
Following the success of the Brazil Box in 2014, Sushi Shop once again called on Tetro to design and implement a multi-channel activation program over a two-month period, with the aim of boosting public relations, generating viral buzz and increasing sales.
CREATIVITY ON DISPLAY
To design this new box, Tetro selected the talented artistic duo of Craig & Karl, known for their pop style that combines geometric shapes with thick dark lines and vibrant colours, to create a limited edition of the famous Sushi Shop box. Craig & Karl designed a visual identity inspired by archetypal images of California: sunshine, blue sky, palm trees and hyper-saturated colours. Tetro developed a complete range of spinoffs from the Craig & Karl design, including limited-edition Sushi Shop packaging, matching tote bags and window displays for retail outlets, plus a set of banners and motion design video content for digital media.
