FRANCE - September 2015
— BACKGROUND —
To boost its brand imagery, Sushi Shop conducts two campaigns each year to create limited-edition designer boxes. Tetro has been responsible for these limited editions since 2014.
— ASSIGNMENT —
Forge a new collaboration with an artist in order to celebrate the opening of the company’s second shop in London, in the chic Marylebone neighbourhood.
— CREATION —
Tetro chooses the Scottish-born, London-based artist Chris Labrooy, an expert in creating 3D images. Combining typography, photography, and an interplay of materials and objects, Labrooy creates surrealist compositions in his own unique style. The London Box combines architectural and symbolic aspects of the British capital, with a nod to the Beatles. The playful, colourful and eccentric design not only appeared on packaging but is used on tote bags and in window displays, as well as for digital media in the form of a set of banners and motion design video content.
