160 - TRAFIK
The name 160 comes from the number of light rods used to make this installation. 160 light rods, spread over 60 metres, placed in 20 frames of 2.5 by 2.5 metres each with 8 rods. But onlookers don’t need these facts and figures to feel the effect of this intuitive instrument that is the starting point on a journey of discovery through the world of shapes, colours and sounds. The light installation presents onlookers with a variety of sensations. As observers make their way through the frames they are confronted with new angles, experiences, perspectives and feelings as the installation uses sound and colours to evolve and transform into a multi-sensory experience.
